Italian fourth division team Folgore Caretese would be hoping to witness some form of brilliance from Isaac Drogba though it would be unfair to put pressure on his young shoulders as he has a long way to go if he’s to match the achievements of his father in the world of football.
Didier Drogba was previously on the payroll at Guingamp before he signed for Marseille in 2003. The Ivorian football legend was spotted by a certain Jose Mourinho during a UEFA Cup clash with FC Porto. Mourinho was the FC Porto manager as at then. After one season at Marseille, Jose Mourinho convinced Chelsea to pay £24m for Didier Drogbashortly after he had left FC Porto of Portugal to become the new Chelsea manager. Didier Drogba went on to become an influential player for Chelsea as he more than repaid the transfer fee spent on him by the Stamford Bridge club. At Chelsea, Didier Drogba won the 2011/12 Champions League title, four Premier League titles and four FA Cup titles. Didier Drogba was always the man for the big occasion at Chelsea as he scored a lot of important goals especially in the finals of major competitions.
