He is widely expected to leave European football and sign for Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua where former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka also plays. It is widely thought that the former Bolton Wanderers player played a crucial role in helping Didier Drogba convinced that a move to China was the best possible decision at this moment.
The Chinese club have also confirmed that they are in advanced talks with the former Chelsea striker over the possibility of a move to China. However, nothing has become official yet, but Drogba has revealed today that he will make a decision soon. Drogba could become one of the best paid players in the world after he is expected to be offered a contract worth around £ 250,000 per week. He is expected to sign a three-year deal with the club.
